Speaking at the inauguration of health facilities at Safdarjung hospital, Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya appreciated the tireless efforts put in by doctors to treat patients and highlighted that it is the commitment of doctors which form the foundation of any hospital in the country.
Exhorting the hospital community to make it a model hospital for the whole country, he urged the doctors to defocus from the point of view of individuals and view the functioning of the entire hospital as a team so that the functioning of the hospital can be made seamless.

Mandaviya also informed that he did a recent unannounced visit to the hospital a few days back, and pointed that there is room for improvement in easing the burden of patients and their relatives coming to the hospital.
